TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2013 (REGULATION 7(2)).
PRE-APPLICATION PUBLIC EVENT
Proposal: Education & Children's Services Directorate at Fife Council intend to apply for planning permission for the erection of a secondary school (Class 10) with associated facilities, including access, car parking/bus stance and playing fields/all weather pitches.
The new school is intended to replace the existing Madras College which is currently located at two sites in St Andrews.
Location: Land to the west of the University of St Andrews playing fields (Langlands) and extending to the south of the A91 (North Haugh), St Andrews.
As part of the pre-application consultation process for the proposed planning application Education & Children's Services Directorate are holding the following two public events in August 2017: Wed 23.08.17 (2.00pm- 8.00pm) at Madras College, Kilrymont Rd, St Andrews, KY16 8DE and Thu 24.08.17 (2.00pm-8.00pm) at Tayport Primary School, Queen St, Tayport, DD6 9NS
Details of the site and the proposal will be displayed at the events and representatives of the applicant will be present in order to answer any questions, which may arise.
Comments leaflets will be available at the events for written comments to be made. Comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the Planning Authority.
